Glamorgan Archives events programme.
Gwent Archives Digital Volunteering Project Officer, Jennifer Evans, joins us to talk about the #CrowdCymru digital archives volunteer project, run jointly by Gwent Archives, Glamorgan Archives, and Cardiff University Special Collections & Archives.
This National Lottery Heritage Funded project will be of great interest to those who have always wanted to become involved in volunteering with South Wales archives but are unable to travel. This completely digital project enables remote volunteers to tag, annotate and describe the digital heritage collections held within these three exceptional repositories from the comfort of home. All that you need is a little time on your hands and online access!
Jennifer will talk about managing the project, show a selection of the varied and eclectic content the volunteers will be working on and discusses the benefits of volunteering.
