Glamorgan Archives events programme

David Allen is the lead author of a newly published history of the Arms Park. Unlike most sporting histories, the book focuses on the ground’s evolving architecture and explores how it developed as an important sporting and social space in the town and city of Cardiff. This presentation will focus on its early years and discuss not only what did happen on the site, but what might have been had various alternate plans for its use come to pass.
