Join Ted Richards from the Friends of Cathays Cemetery and discover more about the Cemetery’s fascinating history. Cathays Cemetery opened in 1859. It is the third largest municipal cemetery in the UK and has been designated a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.
The Friends of Cathays Cemetery was formed in 2006 to help preserve the historical legacy of the Cemetery as well as maintain the grounds for visitors.
The talk will be accompanied by a display of documents from the Glamorgan Archives collection relating to Cathays Cemetery.
This event will be held in person at Glamorgan Archives.
